Originally built by the Admiralty as a boathouse at the turn of the century, Mediterraneo at the Boat House is a popular Italian and seafood restaurant, located on the picturesque Penarth sea front. The restaurant still retains much of its original charm and character, and offers a delicious selection of contemporary cuisine, friendly service and of course, magnificent sea views.

Why not arrive early and enjoy an al fresco aperitif before dining on our outdoor terrace? Fine wine, cocktails, or a bottle of our excellent quality house wine is a perfect start to a dining experience to remember. Relax while our chef prepares your menu choice from an extensive of selection of pasta, pizza, salad, seafood and house dishes - all prepared with fresh Welsh ingredients combined with Mediterranean flair and know-how.
